Using a .d2v file straight from DVD2AVI. My video file is coming out of CQMatic with a file size right at 800 MB. Once I mux the audio with bbmpeg it's way too big. What am I doing wrong?

1. When CQMatic asks for movie time in minutes, the .d2v file shows a different amount than the .wav file. Which one do I use?

2. How do I know the audio bitrate. I'm converting the .wav to .mp2 with headache3. All I see is 44.1khz.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Hi Scott,

In HeadAC3he, you can see the size of the .mp2
Look right under the "Destination" button. There you'll see the file size.
As for the difference of the WAV and the .d2v movie time, did you select "Force FILM" when you created your .d2v project

Why is the time in minutes different between the .d2v video file and the .wav audio file?????

Does CQMatic know how much space to save for the audio based on the audio bitrate/minutes I specify in the CalcuMatic ?????

Kwag, where is the "Force FILM" setting?

I went back into HeadAC3he and selected 112 as the bitrate, I don't think I changed that before.
