Hi there,
I was wondering...
An 80min CD-ROM allows 800Mb movie in it.
That's exactly what CalcuMatic 1.0.6 computes, if I add the video size and the audio size values.
Now, why is it that when I choose DVD 4.7Gb Calcumatic will give me a final value of 4403200Kb= 4300Mb = 4.2Gb for my video and audio
Shouldn't I be allowed to put ~4.7Gb in a 4.7Gb DVD
Sorry but I just got my DVD burner a few days ago
Thanks.

Welcome in the big world of merchandising lies . A "4.7GB" contains in reality 4300 MB. Nothing more

It's a little like 120GB HD where you can put only 114GB of data after format

Like if you buy a piece of land, of so many acres, but a river passes through. So you can never use all the space
But they sold you so many acres
