KVCD: Audio Sync Problem

Hello, I have been working on making my first kvcd the last two days. I have tried three times and I have been unsuccesfull everytime becuase of audio synch problem. I have followed the idiot's guide to converting avi to kvcd, followed all instructions and yet my video lags behind the audio. I used mp2 audio and mv1 video and merged them with TMPGEnc. Can anyone please tell me what I may have done wrong?

You are trying to encode an avi where KVCD is designed to do DVD.

Do your first steps with the basics. Then you can go to "KVCD level 2". There are soooooo many tricky things in avis that can make a KVCD conversion to fail that is impossible to enumerate them all here.
