Hi guys
I managed to get the kvcd 352 * 240 plus template working on my DVD player which is a TEAC DV-2150. But any resolution above that doesnt work with the player. The picture gets all fuzzy. When i burn any files above 352 * 240, in NERO, it tells me to turn standard compliance off but everytime i do that, the player wont play the picture. The only resolution that works is 352 * 288 with standard compliance off.
Any body have any ideas hot to fix my problem?

Hi doen1000:

Some DVD players don't play resolutions above the standard 352x240(28 in VCD mode. Yours could be one. If that's the case, you can still manage to put just about any 120 minute movie with the 352x240 PLUS template in a single CD.

oh what a shame thanks anyways!
sorry to be a pain but i got another question, i tried the skvcd 352*480 template and to no surprise that wouldnt work either. Out of curiosity, i changed the video size to 352*240 but it still wouldnt play. i then burnt it first as a normal vcd and then as a svcd, NERO even accepted the file with standard compliance on! but it still doesnt play properly Is there a way to make it work?
thanks again

dom

Hi dom,

If your DVD player supports SVCD's, then you can play the SKVCD created mpegs. If not sorry, you can't.

yeah i checked the manual. it does support svcd playback but for it doesnt playback the skvcd made file, even when i reduced the size from 352*480 to 352 * 240.
ahh doesnt matter the normal vcd kvcd plus template is good enough for me!

thanks for your hard work kwag!
Dom
