Well I just did this at 352x240 using the optimized scripts and easily got it on 1cd-r with a CQ of 72.The movie is 143mins long so that is well over 2 hours of video and audio on 1 Cd-r.Just about the same as a Svcd and a heck of alot better than a Vcd.

I'm not like some who say "If it doesn't look like DVD it's crap".It's actually pretty good considering it's on 1Cd.

Since I got the Cyberhome Dvd300 I quess I should try encoding kvcdx3's then?Seems like an Idea.

I had no audio/video sync issues at all.I learned kvcd using red-m's guide and use Moviestaker for all of my kvcd making and headac3e for the audio conversion.

Make sure you double the size. Actually triple is as thats how it would look on tv.

That wont be a true comparison as the computer monitor is of a higher definition and therefore will show more artifacts/blocks/mosquito noise etc.

I have done several encodes where the result looks less than perfect on the PC but when burnt to CD and watched on TV they are fine.

Conversonin progress. ( 352 x 288 cq 79 in 1 cd audio 12
I had until now, ( pal version) problem whit the ripping process.
I use always smartripper and the movie estraction type.
Doing so i and with 7 vob file but the first 1 is 300 kbyte in length!
To avoid this I extracted via file options in smartripper the first vob (01).
Then I made the d2v file with dvd2avi and everything worked!
Now I have to multiploex audio and video and see if the sync is ok!
