I know how you frown upon encoding DivX movies, but i must admit that at least half of my movies that i encode have DivX codecs in them.

Anyways, my question really goes for any movie. Lets say i have an Avi/DivX movie, and i want to encode them using your 352x240kvcd plus template. I've noticed that when i leave your standard of 23.976fps, when i play the vcd in my standalone dvd player, i get pausing during fast moving scenes?? When i use your templates and change the fps to 29.976, this fixes my problem. But like you've told me before...This increases my file size upto 20+% and i would really like to save that for better things, like upping my bitrates and cq.

Please tell me you have some kind of miracle cure for this issue

Sorry, but I don't!. If your original footage is 29.97 interlaced, that's what you have to encode to. Just deinterlace. You can't encode at 23.976 if your original source is not FILM.
