I keep getting an error " Could not decompress frame 0" whenever i use avi as the source.

Whats am i doing wrong?

1/ trying to decompress audio as well as video. Try with avisource(...,false)

2/ you don't have the correct CODEC (not directshow filter, I do mean codec)

3/ there is something screwed up on your PC in the codecs installed.

More and more people have this problem since some days and there is no apparent reason so I suggest the last proposition to be the good one.

There was a problem with the Xvid Codec.

Uninstalled and then reinstalled , working fine now.
