(Version sold in germany)

Since a long time i wanted them
(Part one is on my top 10 movie list)

"Deliciuos" I thought, its digitally remastered including the THX certifcate.
In case of the english audio Track its a wonderful "journey into sound". If you watch for example the "Jungle" Parts you feel like beeing in there

The remastered Picture Quality is AWESOME for such old sources.

BUT ... forget the remastering of the other language tracks (IF they're really remastered) german, hungarian, czchech.
Very low on bass and the music is defenitely to much in the middle, Surround Effects are too "compact" etc. etc..
If you switch to the english audio track it feels as there comes light into the dark

But a very very nice Bonbon is the 4th bonus DVD containing a lot of the "make of"'s!
There you can watch explaining them how much "hommages" to Starwars where placed in this film by Lucas and Spielberg.

For example...
- Little C3PO signs in the hieroglyphics on the walls in part one.
- The Dancing Bar at the beginning of part 2 in Shanghai was called "Obi Wan"

.. also interesting....
- The German rebuilded Submarine at almost the end of part one was lent of the set of Wolfgang Petersen's "Das Boot" (U96)
- First Lucas and Spielberg wanted TOM SELLEK! to be the Indiana Jones actor, but T.Sellek at this time got his Magnum episodes where he was doing the shots. And so Harrison Ford became the main actor ... and I'm really happy with this!!!

It's really funny .. just to see the making of DVD!

Cheers
Inc.

Any other Lucas/Spielberg/Harrison Ford (old Shool! ) Fanatics in here ???

Yes, also this little hommage to his dog was also as treatment given in part three where his father Sean Connery told them how his "junior" becam his name, .... so its the same sense
And also you can see this type of dog Lucas exactly owned in real life in part three when Indy was young .. the scene in his house at the beginning.

I just encoded Part one using my new Template and it came out wow
I gonna cut out a scene and provide it here as a link.

Here's the sample of part one of the above mentioned collection.
One CD-R80 Audio 112kbit / 480x576 mpeg1

Avisynth: Just the new MA using classic BicubicPrecise resizing without any sharpening or MergeChroma/LumaBlur.

TmpgEnc with a GOP of 1-41-1 and a special matrix as said where used.
Min Bitrate 270kbit, max Bitrate 1900kbit.

I choosed espec. this scene cause (I like it ) and there you see very hard to compress dark gray fadings and of course a big flash where the bitrate jumps up.

http://home.arcor.de/the.incredible/sample.mpg
(open in VirtualDub for a "real" encoded and not-resized to 4:3 mpeg1 480x576 preview)

For sure they do. But I was just kidding as all my standalone are setted to output english audio / french subtitles and I never change that. Except when I watch a Disney with my 7 year old niece

The bigger reason is that these movies does not exist anywhere but this package !

DialHot...

Did you recognise the THX Surround Decoder configuration Settings Test Area on the Disks??

Everything you need ...

In-Phase Tests, outer-Phase Tests for Audio, also Brightness- & Contrast TvSet optimisations etc. etc.

Oh, ... I never bought these Part one and Part two DVDs of StarWars, cause I do love the "old shool" part 4-6.
(When I was very young, I had some "Kenner" StarWars Toys on my own, I did love them)

The last two Episodes (1+2) to me seem like a Nintendo Game and are far away from the main Idea & treatment Quality. I did like the Hommage to BenHur's Race in Part one, but that was all.....
The new Spaceships do not have that special Lucas character anymore ... IMHO. But that's amatter of taste.
