No, uh! I don't believe anybody! Only one test works for me. Grabbing few
different format divx cds and playing them before buying the player. I was
trying three players that "are playing" divx.

After that... it's much more chiper to buy a slim pc with dvd-rom and
exchange it with your present dvd player. In that way you can play
anything from noncompressed to the latest xvid.

I think that DivX players are not likely to grab a good market place, because of the dynamics of MPEG-4. It's a moving target , and anyone who buys a DivX standalone DVD player, is going to have to be downloading firmware updates to compensate for the "monthly" updates on CODECS. One more reason to use KVCDs

Well guys, I Know Divx video is not very stable yet and Players with Divx playback may or may not sell well, But somebody out there sims to that the Divx community is growing and that is worth selling a player with this other flavor of video format. For me kvcd its just dandy the money Im saving backing up DVDs
