I've tried the optimal script here but the result is not as smooth compare to PixieDust.

Hi

Anyone noticed that most videos encoded with xVid are too dark ?

Because of that I have to use levels command in avisynth to correct the gammas, contrast etc and it takes looooong, long time...

Did you patch only the Matrix, or did you also manage to change GOP parameters in CEE?
How did you do that?

CEE being way faster than TMPGENC, I would like to experiment GOP tweaking...

Hi guys

I just took the matrix setting of KVCD template and patch it into CCE 2.5, it is encoding now, video only, 4 hours left compare to Tmpeg 24 hours -:)

I'll let you know if the result...

Make sure you have the right DIVX codec installed to get TMPEG working, and if it still doesn't work, try to give DirectShow filter a higher priority (Environmental setting/VFAPI plugin)...

I made a mpeg with the newest template (704x576), the result is 806MB, good I said, let VCDEasy make the chapters and .bin, .cue files, the final bin is 911MB big, doesn't fit on a 80min CDR...
