Mpeg-2 decoder?

Isn't the KVCD Mpeg-1? I am using WinDVD 4, which works on my desktop. I'll keep researching and see if I find something funky about the MPEG-2 or display drivers. I'll keep you posted.

I am digitizing hour long shows with AVI_IO (NTSC 720x480 29.97fps, MJPEG quality=19), editing out the commercials and applying deinterlace filter with Virtual Dub, and frame-serving it into Tmpgeng....
