TMPGEnc: "Can't create file" error

i get this error whenever i load an mpg file...

whats wrong? i have tried increasing the priority settings of directshow at the the environmental settings to no avail...

help anyone?

TMPGEnc: Settings for making good quality VCD?

i have been trying to make a good quality VCD for more than a month now.. but always end up with videos that are problematic which include BLOCKS all over..

can anyone enlighten me as to what VCD...

no i have not opened my file in tmpgenc.. and its because i still edit my video with vegas video...

perhaps i should render my video to the highest settings and then use your templates in tmpgenc....

i captured my video using a DV CAM sony dcr pc110 through firewire...

edited it with vegas video and rendered it as .avi with the following specs.

Audio: 48 KHz, 16-bit, Stereo. PCM...

KVCD: Template video conversions choppy?

used kvcd plus 708x480.. outcome was clear, crisp.. problem was it was very choppy and had blocks all over...

what went wrong?

am trying to rip a MJ dvd... and followed sefys guide.. on the step where i am to encode it on tmpgenc .. particularly in choosing the AC3 file.. i can see two files....

Nimo codec pack messed up my video capturing!

few weeks back i had a problem with my ms 4.25.. i cannot "produce" my captured videos... i might have just stumbled on the culprit...

just now i did a full installation of nimo codec pack. . ....
