I was planning on going through the mux as vcd, edit in tmpg-enc, de-mux, then remux as SVCD.

Your way, is certainly much easier.

Ok, I tried converting the audio from 48 -> 44.1khz and on the first movie it worked great!

But apparently that was just a lucky coincidence the the very next video I tried didn't have any sync...

Thanks for the help yesterday.

My size issues were quickly solved by making sure to force to 23.976fps while frameserving. Also the 23.976fps SVCDs seem to run 99% correct on my Apex.

KVCD-CQ-352x240-_NTSCFilm_-PLUS.mcf

template, which has worked wonderfully with movies in the 90-100 minute rage, but none of the movies...
