Yes, the "VCD header trick" can work, but not on all DVD Players...

My Sony DVP-NS415 doesn't read SVCD, but with the header trick, it work!

I already downloaded BeOS Personal Edition P5 and installed it on my laptop, but an OS in black & white is not interesting to use! But with the drivers, i think it will be cool to use! :P

Normally, i use Smart Ripper to extract the VOB and AC3, after that, i convert it to WAV with another program (i think you already know that with my first post :P )

With the KVCD Plus Template 352x240 (NTSC)
Source: DVD, frameserve with DVD2AVI 1.77.3
Audio (AC3) converted to WAV with AC3Tool (a GUI for Azid, lame and vstrip)

Encoded with TMPGEnc 2.58...
