Capturing with Wintv - splits the files after 2gb?

when i capture with this card it splits the files after 2 gb when i try to merge the files tmpeg will only accept the first file all the other files are not accepted how can i fix this

TMPGEnc: Help with horizontal line on pal dvd converted to kdvd half D1

i keep getting a horizontal line going across the middle of the screen during hich action or scene changes.i am frameserving to tmpg from dvd2avi.can someone help me or is there a guide to set this...
