jorel, when i use the min bitrate from prediction, i don´t get good results, well files too big, files very too small...

when i set it back to a different min, to 270, everythings works fine......

well, think i got the clue :) encoded film...

well, think i got the clue :)

encoded film 88 mins,

set min = 0.57*avg bitrate, max=2000, predicted cq with cqmatic,
set min to 270, then encoded the movie with the predicted cq, video stream...

well curious here :

have an 84 min movie, set min=0.57*avg bitrate and max=2000,
predicted and got an cq of 71,89, took 71.

then i changed min to 270, max = 2000, and well the videostream got...

i can use EVERY setting for max and min bitrate, butt the vs is always gettin 20mb-30mb too big :((

could any1 up the beta6? with that i had the most success

cancelled test, cq pretty the same... ...

cancelled test, cq pretty the same...

another test now, taking a cq of 77,31 , with that the video stream was 727mb , so a little big, will take now 74,31, lets see results later

now im testing rc3 again, with NEWEST tmpg version, and other settings , lets see later...

83 min movie
length of video stream = 780 MB !!! JUST the video! :(

perhaps a bug?

tested rc2 with 107 min movie,
set max 2500, min = 0.57*avg bitrate
cq predicted = 72,02
movie after muxxing = 808 mb
well a little bit too big, but just a little

well, testing with old RC1 version now, cause the rc2 is creating too big files, doesn´t matter which values i take for MIN and MAX :(

comparing now cq values of rc1 and rc2 for same movie and...
