He had solved after "several AviSynth reinstalling" ... <--- i don't have idea of what kind of black magic was under this 8O :)

You can check this opening the main log file with the menu: "Job list > View log file" (or you can open the file manually, it's located in: "jobs\jobs.log").
It's not 100% user friendly, i know ^^...

The method is quite good, actually i'm using 0.1% for the short!
But there is a problem, at least with CCE, long_prediction_size/short_prediction_size is no more...

You should talk only on differences between "target size" and "obtained size" (target size is relative only to video, atm you should calculate it manually, giving space for audio and mux/vob...

-Close the script << i think both VDub and qcce crashes here! (you could verify this...

It's a really strange thing anyway.
The only difference between your 2 pcs that could have some influence is the gfx card (imo), maybe some driver...
