Well, if you run a WAV through TMPEG, the result should be about same, because TMPEG will encode the WAV internally to mp2. But at a lower audio quality. The other difference is that the mux is done...

Yes 8O by far :lol:
A 128Kbps encoded with headac3he will sound the same ( if not better ) that the same encoded at 160Kbps or...

Yoda, your mpeg is fine! I have the same behaviour in WinDVD, but not on any of my standalone DVD players. Burn it to CD and try it on your DVD player :D
