Just run DVD2AVI, and create a project for all VOBs :!:
DON'T extract to WAV. :arrow: DEMUX the AC3, and encode the audio with HeadAC3he.

You can try using DVD Shrink, and back it up without any compression.
This would be the same as using any other ripper.
