I recently purchased a Sherwood RD-6108 for ~$130...

I recently purchased a Sherwood RD-6108 for ~$130 US. from Fry's Electronics. I'm very happy with it (so far :wink: )- it supports Pro Logic II and dts. I couldn't find any reviews of it though :?:

I agree- there was very bad Gibbs effect in my Pearl Harbor encode when I used Lanczos but...

I'm getting ready to encode Pearl Harbor to one cd with the LBR temp and new GOP. I encoded a test sample with no filters and the Gibbs effect was very bad- so now I'm trying out SansGrips filters...

I've been testing different GOP combos all night with the 528x480 res and the best (lowest filesize/quality) I've found is 1,5823,6,1,8. :?:
