Did you de/remuliples as SVCD then burn, or did you burn the mpeg1 file directly as non-standard SVCD?

I de/remultiplexed the Matrix sample to SVCD with...

I de/remultiplexed the Matrix sample to SVCD with TMPGEnc and burned as SVCD with VCDeasy. This played on my pioneer 343 and looks really good.

So Kwag, are we better off encoding as mpeg 1 and...

Bud,

The sample you played on the Pioneer 343, did you burn it as a VCD or SVCD?

I just tried the Matrix sample burned as an xVCD and I got the half screen effect.
