I just ran a 2 hour AVI movie through DVD2SVCD...
I just ran a 2 hour AVI movie through DVD2SVCD emulating the KVCD LBR parameters as closely as I could. DVD2SVCD has the ability to 'guess' at the correct CQ_VBR value to use to maximize diskspace...

Also, it appears you put the CQ Quality value in the slot marked "Offset CQ Value". DVD2SVCD will then do a test encoding at CQ_VBR 22 and work its way up or back to fit it on...
