Cast Away is a full-screen version (134 minutes long), U571 is 16:9 version (less than 140 minutes). The source is ripped from DVD by Smartripper--DVD2AVI--Vdub+VobSub--TMpeg.

I have encoded (the whole movie) "Cast Away" and "U571". The final mpeg files are both way larger than 800MB, I used your standard template (352x240; CQ=74). Cast Away=1GB; U571=1.2GB!...
