One thing that would be very useful especially with any TV-series DVDs would be the ability to divide the bitrate by the complexity of the material. I do this all the time for all my manual encodes...

Or if DVD Decrypter doesn't work, you'll have to use the IfoEdit method. DVD Decrypter _might_ screw up the chapters. I've never had any problems with IfoEdit-removed angles.

Maybe..if you rename it as QuEnc.exe (or whatever the exe is) and set DVD-RB to use QuEnc for encoding.

No, but jdobbs is supposedly working on multiangle support at the moment. The additional angles must be stripped before processing, with IfoEdit for example.

They have problems, there's a couple of threads at D9 about it. Something about audio/video hiccups etc. on certain standalones. Pioneer was one of them IIRC so we're both better off with 0.60b :lol:

Sometimes CCE gives such errors when a buffer under/overflow occurs. However, whenever I've had those errors, the encoding has not continued, the program just stopped right there.

Yes, sounds good to me too. The good and bad thing about CCE is that it uses an integer value for Q so you'll get it predicted a lot faster than with TMPGEnc.
