Or simply use the 2ch AC3 track which is encoded...

Or simply use the 2ch AC3 track which is encoded at 192kbps. On the LOTR movies, it's very well mixed and should sound good on a 5.1 system as well.

If the movie is hard telecined, you must IVTC. Don't use TMPGEnc to do that, do that in the script with Telecide and Decimate (in the Decomb dll).

Most of the movies are not hard telecined but...
