Nope. Force film mode causes the Mpeg2Source plugin to produce 24fps material already. If you ran Decimate on that, you'd end up with about 19fps :).

Of course, you would only use Decimate with force film mode off, otherwise both mpeg2dec and decomb will be decimating, with undesirable consequences.
I try to use defaults whenever possible...

I find that force film mode doesn't work well except for totally 100% telecined material. Recently instead of struggling with it I've been leaving force film off and using Donald Graft's Decomb...
