Oh well I thought you meant it's not possible to make a DVD with 544x480 resolution, but from my experience you CAN. The only thing is it's non-compliant so it may not play on all players. Anyway...

Are you sure about that? I encode at that resolution with CCE all the time to make KDVDs and DVD-lab will author & burn them no problem. The only warning I get is "This is a SATV frame size used...
