I think you're right (thought I was going mad!). I used SmartRipper and the DVD2AVI to extract the file. When I encode directly into TMPGEnc it gives great resutls, so it must be something to do with...

Hi

Ive backed up Spiderman onto my PC and was trying to cut it to VCD. I have tried the KVCD2 templates both LBR, VCD and 0.5DVD via the following Avisynth script. The reults look really poor...
