With the horiz. size you mentioned, the mpeg1 kvcdx3 gave me a centred image with black bars on both sides (I have center set - perhaps that's why)
- on the other hand the mpeg2 kvcdx3 worked fine....

The x3 templates did not work unchanged -- I have yet to try the size you suggested.

Mpeg1 did not give any picture while Mpeg2 gave me a grey screen with spaced out white horizontal lines...

Meanwhile I tried some further experimentation. I normally always use the Tmpgenc (plus) Wizard rather than directly loading the templates. Now...

Clatronic DVD 491

Hi,

My DVD player is the Clatronic DVD 491. It is a good player - it plays VCD, SVCD, MP3's and is sold multi-region. I encode in PAL usually. It plays the classic KVCD template without problems....
