play it no problem - mpeg1 only.

KVCD: Kvcdx3 from 720x576 source?

I would like to convert an avi/divx 720x576 PAL to kvcdx3 528x576 PAL and
I'm getting white borders on the top and bottom when I'm playing it in
my standalone dvd. Why? How I can prevent that?
