Karl has it all working only on tmpgenc.
We don't know if that will ever change but as to the latest release 1.4.08 only tmpgenc support.

1 kilobyte is == 1024 bytes.
That's what Karl is doing.
He is dividing by 1024 to reach Kilobytes.
