I'm on a set of 2 new predictions with another 2 movies.
I have 6 movies in my HDD in IFO/VOB files ATM.
I can see that results vary from movie to movie...
All the data from previous encodes...

Nope, I'm getting undersize ~0.05% on predictions.
On real encodes I'm getting around 1% or even less.
But I don't know if I have already emphasized that I am running for a 2 movies in one DVD-5....

Are you using non-linear algorithms to predict?
Or did you just set Slicer() with different parameters on 2 encodes?...

I'm just surprised that with a CQMAXBITRATE value that can go to 4 digits after the dot, you can't find a value that gives results closer than these 4/8%

I have seen and tried DVDShrink and Rejig and believe me, I can tell when a transcoder...

In a way it does but on the other hand I get similar (manual) results when compared to your's.
You say your tool undersizes...

Anybody testing Slicer function on Hank315's HC?
I've been trying since HCBatch 0.14 but with poor results.
Now with HCBatch 0.15 results are also poor.
HC only supports Constant...
