I used the plain pulldown, no special switches....

I used the plain pulldown, no special switches. My DVD player must be a bit more flexible than yours... :(

There's something you can try. Use pulldown.exe in your MPEG1 23.976 kvcd files. Yes, I know pulldown flag is only for MPEG2, but I did that a while ago just to try, managed to get my file...
