That's normal :-).
The TV cuts a part of the imagen whatever you do. That is why we put this edges : THEY will be cut, but not the image of the movie :-)
The A/R must be set to 4:3 anywhere !...

YOur problemm of image cutted out is not relative to the A/R but to the overscan of the TV.
Look into your script, the line gripcrop has a parameter "overscan". Put a value of 1 or 2 there insteed...
