Okay, I just had the problem and this has nothing to do with Diko.

The problem is with players like vlc or media player classic that can't handle correctly the subtitles and non full D1 resolution...

Actually, if these are DVD selectable subtitles, the resolution of the picture is not taken into account. Subtitles are always rendered after the picture has been upscaled to 720*576(480).

Or explain what tools you are using because I'm not sure we are talking about some subtitles hard coded into the image, but more likely selectable subtitles.
