Thanx phil,I have the latest xvid installed,how do i know which codec im using for yv12? I have various codecs,divx,xvid,etc,how do i get the xvid one to be the one that cce uses?

Both scripts run faster with avisource,but with mpeg2 source the ma script runs around 10 times slower than your V4 script.Ive now checked a few different sources and always the same,ma is working...

i have something very amiss then,cos ma is takin 10 times longer than v4 script with the same source,anyone any ideas on what i can try,short of replacing all filters?
