Try deselect "Soft Threshold" and add some sharpening (i use xsharp)

Well... i can't bet on it, but seems that works. I tried to check the difference between the video played by MPC -dshow- and the preview in TMPGEnc -vfw- and seems identical...

Ffdshow instead of avisynth?

I tryed to encode some MPEG-4 source using the SPP deblocking in FFdshow.
(i also little sharpening, to make the result less blurry)
