The bizarre reason is that im a newbie fool :roll:

Ive had another go and its as least twice as fast as encoding a divx, its flying along :lol:

Advantages of source dvd rather than divx?

Hi

For some bizarre reason if I use dvdx to create a d2v file it seems to want to take forever to convert it into a mpeg via TMPGenc. However if I take the intermediate step of first converting...
