TMPGEnc: Problems with mpeg2 to mpeg2 conversion

I'm trying to encode mpeg2->mpeg2 and improve video quality in the process with ffdshow... All ffdshow settings are set up but when I load the mpeg2-file in tmpgenc it doesn't use ffdshow but its own...
