Playback Control (PBC) in VCDEasy

What is exactly this option in VCDEasy. Should I enable it or not while creating my KVCDx3.
I need the SVCD trick to be able to play the files on a Philips DVD 703, so the selection is SVCD 1.0.

Could someone enlighten me on what does this option do?

PBC (PlayBack Control) allows more "advanced" interaction with the disc and works for the VCD 2.0 and SVCD 1.0 standards (also working with KVCDs). Most of the time I'm just putting the movie along with chapter stops on my KVCDs, so I usually leave it off. Some players do work better with PBC on - so I think you could go either way with it.
