Hi all!
I was wondering if there's maybe a plug-in for Winamp, to control the peak level while a file is played. What I mean is, in a huge list with 1000+ MP3s of course some songs sound louder than others, since I usually don't normalize. I need a tool that will make sure all are played back at the same volume...

Alright, I'll search for it... I think I heard about it once, and also that it was not freeware...
You know I'm a poor student, so no money to spend on anything else than TV, DVDs, Home Cinema etc.
EDIT: Sorry Jorge, I can't find that Plug-In ! All I see is "DFX". I downloaded that and I don't see a setting like that.

Hi Jorge my friend...
Ok I now have DFX 6.3 installed, but I can't find that normalizing feature anywhere
I would actually spend money on it, if I was sure that the full version supports it!

Reclock seems to work very well for me. Not only does it control peak playback but it also will help sync framerate for smoothest playback and best sync.
It makes a huge difference on bad DivX files especially.

Ok I downloaded it, installed, and tried to read the readme, but they don't say anything about WinAmp... How do I get it to work with Winamp?
