After many many encodes i have discovered that i have the following problem. I use PAL sources.
If i predict and encode a 4:3 fullscreen movie, the prediction works right and i get always the predicted size as result (Factor 1.0) .
If i predict and encode a 16:9 movie, i have to adjust file size with the factor, in ToK with ~1.04.
With 2.11:1 the factor in ToK is ~1.15.

At the moment i'm using Tok 0.0.5.3 (new prediction), but it doesn't matter if i'm using ToK or calculate the CQ manually (http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3646).
The length of the movie doesn't matter (like the length of the taken sampler).
The encoded filesize is much lower than predicted (except 4:3).
I know that prediction uses the same aspect ratio as the final encoded movie, but is it possible that the black parts result in a lower filesize than predicted
Maybe you have an idea how to predict this?
Anybody out there making the same experiences
Thanks,

Krassi

Seemed to be an Avisynth 2.5/assumefps problem. I've reinstalled 2.08 and now the prediction is working for me.
