I took a quick look but didn't take the time to appreciate what was going on in it. What's the theory?

I almost -- almost -- wish I hadn't bought such a high-definition TV... It's a direct view (CRT) Toshiba, and it really shows the flaws even in DVDs. Satellite is not too bad, but as I said to rendal, digital cable is basically unwatchable because of all the noise that was invisible on my old set. I'm going to call my cable provider and tell them from now on I'll only be subscribing to the HDTV package because all the other channels are so heavily compressed. Maybe if everyone did that they'd take notice...

I think things will get better, though. HD broadcasts look awesome, and HD-DVD is around the corner...

I have three questions about gripfit. One is for sansgrip what cpu instructions do you have optimized with gripfit. Also should I switch to sh0dan version since I have and athlon xp processor? And the last questions is, if I use sh0dan version how would i set it up so if would be exactly the same as gripcrop on 544x480 with and overscan of 2.

thanx ak,

GripFit doesn't have any assembler optimizations for any processor.

SansGrip: Now that you are back, maybe you should check the code. My avisynth 2.5 version only has one line changed.
