hey KWAG. can you post you old templates for us. im sure movies and video are very different, as are the templates. i swear ive had better results SOMETIMES with the older settings.

just a little favor... if ya still got them?

The new templates are not working for me either have yet to complete a watchable movie. I went back to the old. I have found it to have better results and more predictable results.

If you want to use the old parameters, just change the following:

MAX bitrate to 2,300Kbps, instead of 1,450Kbps
Audio back to "Joint Stereo", instead of "Dual Channel"
Turn ON "Detect Scene change"
Change CQ back to 70, instead of 80
Change GOP to 1,12,3,1,0 instead of 1,18,3,1,0


That's it!
