I was thinking about buying a DVD writer and was wondering if it is possable to keep the quality of Divx make them full screen and put it onto a dvd?

I mean would this be near DVD quality? and will there be a guide on how to do it or is it the same as divx to KVCD?

Well the quality won't be any better than making a 2cd movie (or more) with KVCDX3

But it takes longer to encode an MPEG-2

Steps are almost the same as DivX to KVCD just use one of the KDVD templates (easier that way)...

Then you have to take your MPEG-2 File and load it into your DVD-authoring program to burn...

Most drives come with DVD Burning Software...
There is a new version of NERO, but I don't know if it still has problems making a DVD that can work on any player...

If it's widescreen you can't. You can't make data from nothing. If it is full screen just encode and it'll be full screen on the DVD too.

Probably not. DivX is highly compressed, so you will get the quality of the original DivX at best, maybe slightly better because of filtering. Should look good though, providing the DivX is very high quality.

Ideally as much space as you can get! Use ToK to predict, and fill the available filesize. You'll have to adjust the settings a bit though to meet the KDVD parameters...
