No Gre1, he was making sense. He extracted the audio from an avi as a WAV file and then resaved the AVI with the extracted audio. But Hitman, you really don't need to do that. There is absolutely no need to try and resave your DivX 5 file as Xvid, you can convert DivX to KVCD no problem. You'll want to familiarize yourself with avisynth scripting first, and to load your video you use the line
Code:
AviSource ("C:\Movies\movie.avi", false)
You need
false there so it doesn't try to load the audio from the divx file. You can then encode your video by itself, and use HeadAC3he or BeSweet to convert your WAV to MP2. Finally you multiplex video and audio to make an MPG file using RunBBMpeg. Otherwise you can have TMPGenc handle the multiplexing for you by using the lines
Code:
AviSource ("C:\Movies\movie.avi", false)
WavSource ("C:\Movies\audio.wav")
