I love the template and the fact that you can fit a movie on one cd, but i've noticed that there is a skip in the video maybe every 5 or ten minutes.

I tried upping the speed to 32X from 12x and they now seem to work fine.
This after I read someones post about the slower the burn speed the better and how he burns at 8x. Oh well, they seem fine...

the fix was...

the video arrange method was set at full screen or something, I changed it to center/keep asp. ratio and with the source 16:9 and output 4:3 it works fine now. the template came with the vid....

I was encoding the beach last night, and could not get the widescreen to work. I put the dvd in my player and it was widescreen by default. I'll do a search for that program, any tips on using it?

KVCD: How to get wide screen with kvcd+ template?

I think I now have tried everything to get these movies to come out widescreen 16:9 including making the source 1:1 VGA, 4:3, and 16:9. Can someone help ?
Could it be my dvd player?(apex 1500ad)

did you try to load it into nero or your burner sftwr?
I have a couple svcds that size with 60 mins of video that fit on a 80min disk, but you can always try to lower the audio bitrate to sneak it...

Ok the SKVCd looks bad in my opinion, with the stock settings there is terrible block noise/pixelation on my tests. I think the kvcdx2 looks better, but isnt as smooth. Anyone have similar findings?

dl'd the plus template and burned a sample, it works perfect, looks incredible for a one disk vcd.

tried upping the minimum bitrate,

I forgot to mention that I tried re encoding with a higher min. bitrate as was suggesed to Ale in another post. I tried 1000 as minimum and had the same problem in the sample 1 min video I burned.
