Oh wow! I have been using a max 2500 for all my kdvds with a 704x480 resolution. However most of these sources had an actual resolution lower than that. In most cases max 2500 looked good enough...

Hey guys. I usually encode my AVI-->KDVDs with a min/max bitrate of 300/2500. Seems to work perfectly fine for most avi's since, according to Gspot, the movie's I'm encoding have a bitrate ~800...
