I think that the probleme with the resolutions...

I think that the probleme with the resolutions is that very often that's the authoring software that refuses the video is the resolution isn't compliant. Am I wrong ?

To be DVD compliant, a video must be either :

-352 * 240(288) in MPEG1
-352 * 480(576) in MPEG2
-704 * 480(576) in MPEG2
-720 * 480(576) in MPEG2
