So just uncheck the option "log result to a file"...

So just uncheck the option "log result to a file" (do not remember the exact name) that is in the besweet tab, in the middle of the screen, on the bottom part.

You should deinstall it, remove the directory and reinstall the tool.
I never use the wizard and never had any problem.

These mpepg1, how did you obtain them ? Are they coming from a VCD ? If yes, how did you convert the .dat in regular mpeg1 files ?

As said, use gspot to analyse the mp2 file and see what it says.
Because it is definitely not normally to have both headache and besweet that refuse the file.
